2 prizes at the amount of CHF 15'000 each have been awarded during the joint annual meeting in Montreux.

Basic Science:

The awardee is Thierry Roger from the Lausanne University Hospital CHUV, for the publication “ High expression levels of macrophage migration inhibitory factor sustain the innate immune responses of neonates" published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (PNAS).

Clinical Research:

The awardee is Alexandra Scherrer from the Zurich University Hospital, for the publication „ Emergence of Acquired HIV-1 Drug Resistance Almost Stopped in Switzerland: A 15-Year Prospective Cohort Analysis " published in Cinical Infectious diseases.
