About us
The SAFE-ID Foundation was created in 2003 by the five academic infectious diseases divisions of the Swiss University Hospitals. The Foundation's purpose is bringing to Swiss ID-physicians, clinical microbiologists, virologists, as well as other related scientists the latest in post-graduate training and continuing medical education in the field. Board members and Scientific Committees work pro bono. SAFE-ID is supported by unrestricted educational grants of the pharmaceutical industry.
2760 healthcare professionals attended SAFE-ID educational events in 2025.
